- Infotrac Onefile - for example if you type video game into basic search- you get more than 592 academic research articles
- ABI Inform - for example if you use keyword video game - you get more than 300 academic research articles
- Academic Search Premier - for example if you use keyword video game - more than 800 academic research articles (including articles from the Communications of the ACM)
- Communication & Mass Media Complete - for example if you use keyword video game - almost 150 academic research articles
- Facts.com (aka Facts on File) has almost 50 documents related to video games and a page about videogame violence (under issues in the news, the issues & controversies sidebar list)
