opening keynote by ernest adams - 11 cmmandments for game design programs - #11 = don’t give multiple choice exams - ha ha
we did small group discussions about (in my case) design theory classes. SOme good ideas. Other groups did skills and synthesis. SUpposedly the notes are all going to be put online - we talked best practices and what we’re doing in class. Lots of similar acitivites - play games, analyze games, write about games, play non-digital games. SO that was comforting
What wasn’t comforting is that everyone needs faculty and even in the big cities they can’t find them. adjuncts don’t work out. could be tough for our porgram
