the cs guys came up with a new game development minor – so i need to change my major to require it. After the gdc talks, i realized the students needed more programming, more technology stuff.
The other problem is the students – the ones this semester are totally not putting in the required work/time on their ideas and game development. Depressing. They are having problems with the easy software so we’re going to back off the 3d game and have them just do some exercises while they work more on their 2d game. Right now they’re not fun games and don’t connect with the info in the learning guides at all.
