we sent out postcards with info about the new major to the accepted freshmen – and i’ve only heard from a couple of people. granted – we didn’t recruit like we will next year, but it’s kind of depressing. And the one kid i talked to is more likely a minor who won’t start till next year anyway. and it’s too late for any gamers to apply and be accepted. so gotta accept that this year is just a test drive of the classes and a chance to get some photos and maybe sample games/projects to use in promotion/advertising for next year. maybe that’s good – for me, but not for the few kids that are into the program already (who’re in the game design class already)

About This Blog
I'm trying to get the school I teach at to develop a videogame major - design and development, immersive media. This is my blog, my story, about the process. Things I'm thinking, things I'm frustrated about, and so on. It's not an official story or anything put together by pr folks or marketing. It's my story so there are typos, crabby outbursts, and probably no names.
