This book will probably only be for the first semester – it’s Confessions of a part-time sorceress: a girl’s guide to D&D – it made me laugh out loud. I think we’ll either read it while we’re talking about MMOs or as part of the social aspects of gaming. It has things we can talk about tho in relation to learning games, effects of rules on players, images of games and gamers int eh general population, game play and turn taking, information requirements on players… So it’s really a good first look at D&D with lots of other videogame applicable goodness inside. so we have one light weight eary to read book, one sort of how-to guide for SL, and thetheory book (still not too hard to read) for the main text book
Need to find some gamasutra articles and news sources for each to give them experience reading lots of news sources
