Developing a New Major

gotta find a way to owrk them more into class – as a way to practice giving nad receiving criticism

first try – each week you have to read and comment on a different person’s blog about their ideas for the week – give constructive criticism – what’s clear about their idea, what do you not understand, what games does their idea sound like, who might like the idea, any additions to their idea (yeah and you could also do…)

2nd try – I pick out 5 good ideas each week and we vote on them in class

3rd try – each person adds something to the idea of the next person in the blog list

4th try – need some way for them to combo ideas – take bits and pieces from several ideas and create a new idea, combo ideas with other people in your group

5th try – need way for them to respond to criticism – have to rework their idea to incorporate most of the suggestions made by others in class

6th try – workshop ideas in their group – get criticism from a small group over time
