Image by kandinski via FlickrHere is where I think we’ll use the adams and rollings book. I don’t mind the price if it’s a 2 semester course. It’s a great book and i want them exposed to it. It covers all teh decisions they’re going to have to make as they design their games.
I will probably also use the gameplay mechanics book by Troy Dunniway and Jeannie Novak. I need some stuff for 2d and other stuff for 3d. Probably need something depending on what 3d game design software we use. If torque there are several good looking books.
